Seadrift Chalet
Sitting amidst the magnificent mountain and coastal scenery of Wester Ross, only 50 yards from the shore of Loch Alsh, this modern chalet is in a sheltered wooded corner in the grounds of the owners\\\' guest house. It has been completely refurbished and refitted to provide every convenience and comfort and enjoys lovely views over the loch to the west. All rooms are freshly decorated, well presented and very comfortably furnished.
The living area has patio doors to a raised deck with outdoor furniture and barbecue for outdoor meals or relaxing in the peace of the Highlands.
Located just off the main road to the Skye Bridge, the chalet is the ideal base for touring west to the Misty Isle itself, north and east to the mountains of Torridon, Inverewe Gardens and the lovely fishing village of Gairloch or south over the spectacular Mam Ratagan Pass to Glenelg and the quaint original Skye Ferry. The area offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, angling, golf, riding, sailing, cruises and diving and the world famous Eilean Donan Castle is only two miles away. There is a local shop and hotel two miles away, further facilities six miles away at Kyle of Lochalsh and Inverness is less than a two hour drive.
2 doubles, and 1 single bedroom, open plan living/dining/kitchen with feature fire, bathroom with combination shower cabinet/ small bathtub. Cooking by gas, heating by electricity. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, SKY television,video, DVD , CD player. Bed linen provided, towels available at £3 per person per week.
Seadrift Cottage
Sitting amidst the magnificent mountain and coastal scenery of Wester Ross and just above sea level, with the shore right outside the cottage this quaint corrugated iron cottage is in the process of being modernised and is situated close to the owners guest house. It is being completely refurbished and refitted to provide every convenience and comfort and enjoys lovely views over the loch. All rooms are freshly decorated, well presented and very comfortably furnished.
The living area has windows to the front where you can sit and take in the spectacular views, or sit and watch and you can often see various wildlife which includes the odd deer or otter, ducks and the many different types of birds.
1double 1 twin , and 1 bunk bedroom, open plan living/dining/kitchen with log burning stoves , bathroom with bath/shower. Cooking by electric, heating by electricity or wood burning stoves . Fridge/freezer, , microwave, SKY television,video, DVD , CD player. Bed linen provided, towels available at £3 per person per week.
